How to get the most for your Galaxy S24+

Compare payout types, not just amounts. Carrier offers are usually bill credits tied to a new phone or plan. Cash and gift-card offers are worth their face value right away.

Grade the condition honestly. Every provider inspects the phone and lowers the offer if it doesn't match the condition you picked.

Prepare the phone. Back up with Samsung Cloud or Smart Switch, remove your Google and Samsung accounts in Settings > Accounts and backup, then do a factory reset. Removing the accounts first turns off Factory Reset Protection, which otherwise blocks the trade-in.
